Ollie likes his baths after all! Maybe because when Grampa and Grammy came to visit they gave him this adorable little bath towel with his name on it! (Or maybe because mama and papa figured out how warm the water should be?)

uh-oh

i met my grammy and my grampa this weekend and had an awesome time...they made me smile more in one day then i had all week. i will miss you grammy and grampa!

i'd post some pictures right now, but papa made an uh-oh...he stuck the memory card in the wrong slot of mama's computer and now mama and papa have to try some surgery or pay some "genius" to open up the machine and retrieve the card...so until then just one big xx and oo for my peeps!

Hi Ho Hi Ho Part 2

Ollie had his first trip on the subway recently. No pictures to document this event but we hear he was quite the straphanger.

Ollie and mama took a trip to visit papa at work.

It was probably papa's favorite day since he got back from his paternity leave.

Ollie took a look at the list of offices papa could work at and he decided NY was just fine for now.....

lil' Ollie then got to meet big Ollie who even makes papa look itty.

Both Ollie's were impressed.

Pump Monster

Ollie's reaction to seeing the pump monster taking milk from mama.

He just couldn't watch.

But what he didn't realize is that he was going to have new way to get fed...via papa and a bottle.

Initially jury was out, because last time he tried to feed via papa he wasnt happy

but eventually he really got in to it

and Ollie finished his first bottle!!!

i had my first real bath this week.

as you can see, i was a little worried when mama and papa told me the plan. don't tell them i said this, but those two have no clue what they're doing.

i didn't like my bath so much.

but i still managed to look adorable through the whole thing. 

Grandma Jane

Last week Grandma Jane stayed with us all week. It was awesome. It was like magic fairies came in every day—she emptied the trash and diaper pails, cleaned every room in the apartment, including corners that have never seen a broom, ran errands, let Mama take naps, washed the dishes, did a million loads of laundry, and MOST importantly, held Ollie.

(look at them both laughing!)

Clearly, Ollie loves it when Grandma Jane holds him.
We really miss her.

extremes

i met a new friend named miles. miles is HUGE! mama says he's off the charts in size for his age—something like in the 110th percentile! i started out in the 3rd percentile when i was born. but i'm gaining on miles... today at the pediatrician i weighed 7lbs. 13 oz. and was 21 inches long. mama says up to the 8th percentile for weight and 29th for length! maybe someday i'll be as big as miles is and then we can dunk basketballs together.

i also met miles' parents, petrie and jeseka—mama says they're the most generous people she's ever met—they've given mama and papa all sorts of gifts for me and lots of miles' outgrown baby goodies to borrow too. plus jeseka says she'll bring miles over and we can all go to the park together. mama's right—they rock!

confusion

papa learned a lesson the other day.

do not wear the sling when i am hungry, cause when i am hungry i want to do just one thing




and if i do not get to do that one thing then i get upset

papa told me he learned a similar lesson one day when he was making salsa, do not cut chilis with your shirt off....
