Papa had kind of a stinky day at work today, but Vivienne made it all better when he got home with her new found favorite thing to do.

Happy First Birthday My Sweetest Vivienne Shae!
Vivienne Shae, I can't believe a year has gone by since you came into our lives, all 4lbs, 13oz of you. People always comment how you are a mini-Ollie, and you do look a lot like your big brother (who loves the heck out of you). But as your beautiful little personality comes through, we get to see what a special girl, all your own, you are. You're so amazingly chill and easygoing, just like your Papa. You just go with the flow and are happy to watch the world around you, explore in any situation, chatter on to anyone who will listen, and go along with whatever nonsense Mama and Ollie drag you into. Yet you're fiercely independent, tenacious, persistent, and stubborn. You'll sit for the longest time working quietly and intently on something, jump right into the middle of a dogpile of big kids, climb anything that gets in your way, and refuse to give up when you've decided you want something. Also just like your Papa. Hmmmm... Papa's Girl here? My favorite thing in the world is cuddling with you before I put you down for naps or bedtime. And then cuddling again afterwards, until you notice the clouds in the sky out the window, or Ollie's new artwork on the table and point and say "OH! OH!" until I tell you all about whatever it is you're pointing at. Actually, maybe my favorite thing in the world is watching you play with your big brother. You love him as much as he loves you. He can make you giggle like no one else can, chasing you around the room, tickling you, jumping in your crib to play when you're both supposed to be napping, and making silly sounds and faces that you love to mimic. You follow him around and want to do everything he's doing, and mostly he loves it, except when you mess up his stuff (he's like Mama that way). You've filled up our home with even more love than we knew we could have. You are the sweetest, strongest little package of happiness I have ever known and we are all so lucky to have you in our lives.
