bridget babysat me

 

mama and papa went away and left me with the most awesome babysitter ever. we played with my mobile, she kissed my feet and made me laugh, she fed me tons of milk, and then we stayed up really late and watched vampire television. i love it when bridget babysits me.

Our Little Spit-Up Monster

Ollie likes to spit up on Papa. Usually just before he goes to work to try to make him stay home a little longer. Although I think maybe this time he was mad that we put him in this silly outfit.

One time in the middle of the night, he actually projectiled it out of his bassinet and into the middle of our bed out of a dead sleep, smiled, and promptly went back to sleep. That's our little spit-up monster!

this picture of me is about 6 weeks old, but silly mama keeps forgetting to take new pictures of me with amber when she comes to visit, and she comes to visit a lot! mama just gets distracted when amber's around cause they just like to talk and talk and talk and talk and sometimes i have to cry to get them to stop. but sometimes i just sleep and let them yammer on. especially if amber is holding me, then i don't mind at all.

my first playdate!

last week my friend miles came over for a playdate!

first he gave me a horsey ride.

then we went to the park and played with (well next to) each other. miles taught me that the best toys are always whatever it is that someone else is holding, including your mama's camera.

i had to put my sun hat on so i wouldn't get a sunburn.

papa says it looks kinda girlie, but mama says i'm cute so who cares?

maybe one day i'll have as much hair as miles does, then i won't have to wear a girlie sun hat.

then it was time to go home, cause i got tired and flipped everyone off.

it was a great first playdate!

i love my mama so much that today i told her i loved her at 1 am

at 3 am

and at 5 am

then papa took me into the living room and told me we couldn't tell mama how much we loved her again until 9 am, which i thought was too long, so i cried until he let me tell her at 8:30 am
