Ollie Found His Outside Voice

one of the highlights of the carolina leg of the ollie z tour was the opportunity i had to meet my great grandparents

she had the the opportunity to tell my folks in person that it was about time they had a kid!

boy was she right!

Drool Monster

Ollie is a giant drool monster these days.

We're all soaking wet pretty much all the time.


He manufactures drool like it's his job. And he seems to have a lot of fun doing it.

Big Day! (or Night)

Ollie's been growing a lot over the past few months.

He's out-growing his bassinet, 

and his swaddle.

So this weekend, Papa put together the crib and Ollie moved from his bassinet next to our bed into his very own room (and bigger swaddle) where he'll have plenty of room to grow. He seems to love it and slept in until 8:30 the very first morning. (Which was nice for Mama since she was up all night worrying about whether he was okay in his very own big boy room.)

i'm really excited for the world cup this year

so much so i had mama and papa set up a pool amongst our family and friends so i could win some big bucks

this is me at my first world cup game at a bar (nope not the first time i've been to a bar). england vs estados unidos. it was really loud.

Today for Father's Day, Ollie took Papa to Coney Island where they had a blast.

 

They ate well.

 

Papa rode on the Cyclone. (He wanted to take Ollie on it, but Mama wouldn't let him. Mean Mama.)

And then on the subway on the way home, Ollie gave Papa his Father's Day gift. We love you Papa!

Cousin Dani tried to convince Ollie to join her this summer in Montana, Ollie didn't think he was ready to leave BK yet....

Great Aunt Ruth warned Ollie of the crazy family he was born in to, Ollie thought it was funny cause he knew this already.....

my first trip across state lines

a few weekends ago we took my first trip out of state! to new jersey! on a bus!

we even went to a mall—papa says that's what you do in new jersey.

but my favorite part was when karen, juliana's mama held me. she makes a baby happy.

then it was time to go home and that pissed me off cause i sure loved my first trip to new jersey.
