It's Birthday Season

With the New Year, we are getting in to birthday season - Ollie and friends will be turning 3 years old! His first buddy to celebrate a birthday was Alec.  Alec's mommy brought in a Music for Aardvark singer and the kids had quite a rockin party.

grandma ruthie and grandpa david came up to visit me and meet my baby sister.

vivienne liked chilling with grandma

and grandma liked helping out with bath duty

i liked reading books with everyone

and making puzzles with grandma

and pretending to light the chanukah lights with grandma (papa had to improvise with the lack of candles)

we then went on a trip to the bronx to see the gingerbread house and train show

I decorated a gingerbread cookie ....

and discovered red hot candies make great gingerbread boy eyes but they are tooooo hot!!!

so we are a bit behind in our blogging...and papa still has not taken down our tree to be recycled. mama and i have already done our part to take the decorations off. why is papa so lazy?

anyway if you look at these pictures in reverse you could pretend they are only a couple of days old and that we are taking down our decorations....truth be told a few weeks ago mama and i had a blast setting up the tree. i liked hanging balls down low, but mama kept on insisting that we should hang them up high. i love the tree and will be sad when papa finally takes it away.

Rudolph from the Moon

Ollie learned a lot about Santa this year from preschool. Although I do not think he learned that Rudolph and the reindeer fly in the sky and come from the Moon...nor how Santa was able to get in to our apt to bring all the gifts.

Ollie's uncle took one look at the following gift and foresaw broken bones in his future.  I hope he is wrong. Within 5 seconds this kid was ready to hit the quarter pipe.  How early can you take a kid boarding?

An aspect of life with two, is the desire to cut a few corners. This is what happens when you skip a couple days worth of bath time.

ok so maybe i have not been a good blogger....but I have even busy helping out my mama and papa with my baby sister.

a few weeks ago I helped give vivi her first bath. we had to wait for her skin to fall off her belly, but once it did.....time for bath lil sister.

the best thing about bath time for lil sister is it extends my bath time and my bedtime.

Uncle Matt and Aunt Nikki Got Married!

Boy do we have some stories to tell from Florida....If only we didn't need more sleep. We promise blog updates coming soon.

Congratulations Uncle Matt and Aunt Nikki! We love you. And we love that you got married on a beach and made us come frolic in the sun for a few days. We hope you're having a fabulous time on your honeymoon and start working on some new cousins for me soon.
