my first snowstorm

and it's a good one! a giant blizzard hit brooklyn yesterday. this is our street:

mama and papa and i went on our roof to play in the snow.

it was super windy—good thing I was all bundled up!

i ate some snow—which isn't as good as a juicy clementine, my favorite food right now.

don't papa and i look cute in our matching hats?

next i made a snow angel

which wasn't much fun for me as you can see

but the result was pretty adorable, right?

later we walked around the neighborhood, which was a blast!


i can't wait until i'm big enough to go sledding!

More Oldies But Goodies

Yup, half naked baby cuteness here.

Presents! Boxes! Wrapping Paper!

Santa made it to Brooklyn this year and left Ollie lots of goodies for his first Christmas.

He woke up and headed straight for the loot.

He seemed to like the presents wrapped in shiny paper the most.

And he sure had lots of fun eating...

er... opening the gifts.

He would have been satisfied with the wrapping paper...

and tissue paper...

and boxes...


But the gifts were nice too.

Visiting the Neill's

Last week after we went to pose with Santa, we headed over to the Neill's place for some yummy waffles and lots of playing.

Papa got a little taste of what two would be like.

 

Then Clyde and Calvin reminded him how to play Connect Four.

Next was story time at Ushma's daycare center.

Then Ollie rode a green spotted llorse (that's a llama-horse if you didn't know).

But his favorite toy was a big silver balloon.

He loved it so much that Mama bought him his own balloon a few days later. Why are balloons so much fun?

Noisy Toys and Little Boys

Grampa and Grammy sent Ollie his first musical christmas toy. And he loves it. Mostly I think he loves torturing his parents by playing it over and over and over again... look at that mischievous little grin at the beginning of the video.

Fun with Photobooth

Photobooth on our laptop has been providing hours of entertainment for the Lil Man. It may even be more fun than playing in front of the mirror!
