my first trip across state lines

a few weekends ago we took my first trip out of state! to new jersey! on a bus!

we even went to a mall—papa says that's what you do in new jersey.

but my favorite part was when karen, juliana's mama held me. she makes a baby happy.

then it was time to go home and that pissed me off cause i sure loved my first trip to new jersey.

The RosenGreens Visit

Jon and Julia visited us on their way to Paris so they could meet the little stinker and make him smile. As you can see, they worked hard at showing him how and Ollie gave it right back.

Ollie's first flight-Live blogging from the airport

Papa foprgot to look at the tickets so we went to LGA in one taxi,
unsuccessfully tried to check in, then jumped in taxi #2 to JFK.

Ollie made it through his first pat down at security and now we are
waiting at the gate.

This is an angle our blog followers may not often get to see...the back of ollie's head. He's been growing a fine ginger mullet over the past 12 weeks. We are hoping to start braiding it soon. Maybe he can be an extra on the next avatar film?

bridget babysat me

 

mama and papa went away and left me with the most awesome babysitter ever. we played with my mobile, she kissed my feet and made me laugh, she fed me tons of milk, and then we stayed up really late and watched vampire television. i love it when bridget babysits me.

Our Little Spit-Up Monster

Ollie likes to spit up on Papa. Usually just before he goes to work to try to make him stay home a little longer. Although I think maybe this time he was mad that we put him in this silly outfit.

One time in the middle of the night, he actually projectiled it out of his bassinet and into the middle of our bed out of a dead sleep, smiled, and promptly went back to sleep. That's our little spit-up monster!

this picture of me is about 6 weeks old, but silly mama keeps forgetting to take new pictures of me with amber when she comes to visit, and she comes to visit a lot! mama just gets distracted when amber's around cause they just like to talk and talk and talk and talk and sometimes i have to cry to get them to stop. but sometimes i just sleep and let them yammer on. especially if amber is holding me, then i don't mind at all.
